1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using CardEyeQ, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in methods, and notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may limit, suspend, or close accounts that violate these Terms, create security risk, or misuse the service.
3. CardEyeQ services
CardEyeQ helps collectors capture and organize cards, review catalog identity and pricing references, receive AI-assisted condition screening, track Master Sets and wishlists, and connect through marketplace tools. Features may change or depend on third-party data and services.
4. AI grading and identification
EyeQ Grade and card identification are automated estimates based on submitted images and available information. They are not official third-party grades, authentication, certification, appraisals, or guarantees. Lighting, image quality, hidden defects, handling, and grading-company standards can produce different results. You remain responsible for inspecting cards and deciding whether to submit, buy, sell, insure, or trade them.
5. Pricing and market information
Prices, trends, comparisons, and estimated values are informational references. They may be delayed, incomplete, or based on a different variant, condition, stamp, language, or grade. They are not guaranteed sale prices, appraisals, or investment advice.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of photos, notes, listings, and other content you submit. You grant CardEyeQ a limited, worldwide license to host, process, display, reproduce, and adapt that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service and fulfill your sharing or listing choices. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content.
Community sharing
New registration forms show community sharing selected by default. You can uncheck it before registering or manage scans, completed rips, and individual activities in Discord sharing. When enabled, a new card scan can post individually after CardEyeQ has saved a positive market value for that card. Price-ready scan posts are sent during 8 a.m.–9 p.m. Chicago time; overnight scans wait until 8 a.m. Completed rip highlights continue through scheduled community updates. Saving a final Quick Rip batch also finishes that session.
These posts may display catalog card names, sets, numbers, grades, estimated values, sealed product names, and hit lists. They exclude your collector identity, account links, private photos, certificate numbers, and private notes. Full Vault records stay private; marketplace listings and other sharing links remain separate choices. Existing privacy choices and older private activity are not automatically changed by this update.
Turning off automatic sharing stops future automatic posts. Individual activities can also be made private. Disabling a shared activity removes access to its public CardEyeQ activity page, but posts already delivered to Discord and copies made by others may remain. Distinctive cards or combinations of hits may be recognizable even without your name. Shared rips can also show the product’s purchase price, estimated total value of logged pulls, and estimated profit or loss before selling fees when cost sharing is enabled. The current signup notice includes this choice; existing members can enable it in Discord sharing. Older private cost preferences are preserved. Automatic card-scan posts are not published until a saved market value is available; shared rip values may still show a price as pending.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use CardEyeQ to break the law; infringe rights; upload malware; scrape or overload the service; evade access controls; impersonate others; harass collectors; manipulate listings, reviews, grades, or market data; or offer counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, or deceptively described items.
8. Collector marketplace
CardEyeQ provides listing, matching, notification, chat, and deal-organization tools. CardEyeQ is not the buyer, seller, payment processor, escrow agent, shipping carrier, insurer, authenticator, or arbitrator in collector transactions. Users transact with one another at their own risk and must follow the Marketplace Rules.
9. Paid features
Stripe processes payments. Prices and applicable terms appear before purchase. Subscriptions renew until canceled. One-time services and subscriptions are subject to our Billing & Refund Policy and any non-waivable consumer rights.
10. Third-party names and services
CardEyeQ may reference card games, manufacturers, marketplaces, grading companies, and data providers for identification and compatibility. CardEyeQ is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, Game Freak, or any grading company unless expressly stated.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardEyeQ is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect identification, complete market data, a specific grade, or a successful transaction.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardEyeQ LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, value, or opportunity. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid CardEyeQ during the preceding 12 months or $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
